2024 season

The 2024 season went well but was different from the previous years. More fish especially sea trout but less big salmon. It seems that the 3 Sea Winter salmon was only about 1/3 of the normal numbers in the river and this was the same in almost all northern European rivers. The indications are that few smolt survived in 2021. The indications are that the following smolt year classes are again back to normal, so 2025 could be a very exiting year, with both many large salmon and many large sea trout. But as we all know - salmon run predictions are not easy.
